Opening For The Season

  1. If you use a solid cover, first drain off any standing water so that it doesn’t spill back into the pool. Once you have removed your cover, and it has dried completely, fold and store in a dry place.
  2. Be sure water level reaches halfway up the skimmer so it can flow freely in and out. Remove all debris from pool with a leaf net.
  3. Start pump and filter system. Vacuum and brush pool thoroughly.
  4. Once you have run your pool for at least five hours, take a sample to JoPa Company and one of our trained experts will test your water. Be sure to bring at least 1 qt. Once we have analyzed your pool water, we will provide instructions to properly balance your pool water.
